1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using RankFelt ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use RankFelt. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

3. Accounts

• You may only create one account. Multi-accounting is prohibited.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide a valid email address. We may send essential account-related communications to this address.
• Usernames must not impersonate other players, contain slurs, or include offensive content. We reserve the right to change or remove inappropriate usernames.

4. Fair Play Policy

RankFelt is a competitive platform. All players are expected to compete honestly. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Collusion: Coordinating with other players to manipulate match outcomes, including win-trading, signal-sharing, or intentional losing.
• Exploitation: Abusing bugs, glitches, or unintended game behavior to gain an unfair advantage.
• Intentional disconnecting: Repeatedly leaving ranked games to avoid losses or waste other players' time.
• Automation: Using bots, scripts, or any software to play on your behalf.
• Account sharing: Allowing another person to play on your account, or playing on another person's account.

5. Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
• Post or transmit content that is hateful, defamatory, or obscene
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or other players' experience
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

6. Enforcement

We may suspend, restrict, or permanently ban your account at our sole discretion for violations of these terms. For ranked play, penalties include ELO adjustments, temporary bans for repeated disconnects, and permanent bans for cheating or collusion. We are not obligated to provide advance notice before taking enforcement action, though we will endeavor to do so when practical.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

RankFelt offers an optional paid subscription ("Pro") processed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Tournaments

Sponsored tournaments with prize pools may be offered in the future. Tournament-specific rules, eligibility requirements (including geographic restrictions), and prize distribution terms will be published separately for each tournament. Participation in tournaments may require additional verification.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of RankFelt is owned by RankFelt or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankFelt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, ELO rating changes, or account restrictions resulting from enforcement actions.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which RankFelt operates.
